Connecting RunSmart to your QuickBooks Online Account
To connect RunSmart to your QuickBooks Online account:
Log in to your Projection Genie account
Create a Project via the Project Page
Click on the green Connect to QuickBooks button
Enter your QuickBooks login credentials to connect your account to Projection Genie
Projection Genie will begin the process of importing, analyzing, and producing your results. This process can take as long as 25 minutes. You can logout and return at a later time without interrupting the process.
Once your results are ready, you'll be taken to your dashboard page to see a highlight of your results.
Note: From time to time, QuickBooks may require you to reauthorize your connection to Projection Genie. If prompted, simply reenter your QuickBooks login credentials.
Pro Plan Users:
If you’re on the Pro plan, you can connect a different QuickBooks Online account to each project—making it easy to manage multiple businesses in one place.
This is ideal for accountants, bookkeepers, and advisors who work with multiple clients.
If you’re a QuickBooks ProAdvisor, after clicking Connect to QuickBooks and signing in, you’ll be prompted to select which client account you want to link to the project. Repeat this process for each project.
