Overview
Projection Genie users on the Pro Plan have the option to create multiple projects. Each project is treated as a child account that is associated with a single parent account.
Account Structure
Parent Account:
This is the primary account that houses all of your projects. It serves as the central hub for managing and overseeing your child accounts.Child Account:
Each project you create is considered a child account of the parent account it belongs to.
Security & Privacy Measures
To safeguard your data, Projection Genie implements strict security protocols:
Data Segregation:
Each child account is isolated from others within the same parent account. This means that team members assigned to one child account cannot view or access data from a different child account unless they are explicitly added to it.Controlled Access:
Only Account Owners and Admins of the parent account have full visibility into all child accounts and their corresponding data. This centralized control ensures that sensitive information remains secure while still providing comprehensive oversight.
Managing Access
Team Member Permissions:
When assigning team members to a child account, keep in mind that their access is limited to that particular project. They won’t be able to see data from other child accounts unless they are granted additional permissions.Admin Oversight:
As an Account Owner or Admin, you have the authority to view and manage all child accounts under your parent account, ensuring streamlined administration and enhanced security.
By understanding the structure of parent and child accounts and the security measures in place, you can confidently manage your projects while maintaining the highest level of data privacy and security.
